Sad so few will ever become aware of how this "transformation" hurts them. Should they run afoul of the authorities they will learn. As I watch Julie Kelly tweet about the J6 abuses, I get outraged. In the early days comments were tilted toward "good for them, get what they deserve, should be shot, bad people all", now a bit more sympathy with a few nasties still in play. Whether the violence can ever by justified is a question more to the psychology of crowds and riots but J6 bears the marks of some theater that may have been in play. The full story may be far away from now. But too many in Congress are feckless perhaps more afraid of government than the people they represent. If true, we really have lost our government.

The Trump indictment is a reflection of abuse. None of us really know the relevance of the of the "classified" documents which might have aged out. Little remains secret forever, unless it might implicate government itself. Classified stuff I created 20-50 years ago mean little now, overcome by technology itself. The effort required to get them declassified isn't easy despite the declass schedule. And the investigators wonder if they found them all - as if Trump has Sandy Berger shorts! As if on one day a President had the keys to the kingdom and the next he must be a villain. As Kennedy discovered the "community" often holds secrets that even our President isn't informed about. Is the President even aware of the numerous code-word compartmented programs?
